Central GOK repaired the mill at the processing plant

Central GOK (Mining and Processing Plant repaired the mill of the technological section No. 8 of the Central GOK. They replaced the armor on the drum, scoops, loader nozzles and the feeder housing. Metinvest group informs in their Telegram channel.

“We also checked the area where the equipment will work. Carrying out system repairs of equipment at the last stage of ore grinding allows the entire production complex of the Central Mining and Processing Plant to operate smoothly,” the report says.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in March the plant began scheduled repairs at the crushing plant. They carried out preventive maintenance of equipment that grinds more than 30 thousand tons of ore daily.

Recently the specialists of the Central GOK established in the bomb shelter, the control panel for automated batch mixers Eirich and the roasting machine OK-324. This will help not to stop production during air raids and implement a project that allows you to control the equipment of the pelletizing plant remotely.

Central GOK is one of the five largest producers of iron ore raw materials in Ukraine. It specializes in the extraction and production of iron ore: concentrate with an iron content of 65% and 68.2%, as well as pellets with an iron content of 63.9%.

At the end of 2021, the Central GOK reduced production of iron ore concentrate by 2.1% compared to 2020 – to 4.8 million tons. The production of commercial pellets decreased by 0.5% – to 2.26 million tons.
