In January–November 2020, cargo transportation in Ukraine fell by 11.6% to 546.6 million tons compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the State Statistics Service.
In November, a decline in cargo transportation volume slowed down:
In 11M rail transportation decreased by 3.2% to 278.8 million tons, road transportation by 21.6% to 174.6 million tons compared to the same period of the previous year.
Water transportation dropped by 8.4% to 5.2 million tons, pipe transportation by 13.5% to 87.9 million tons, and air transportation by 6.5% to 0.1 million tons.
As reported earlier, cargo transportation by all means of transport grew by 2.1% in 2019.
