ANNOUNCEMENT: MININGMETALTECH 2024 conference from Metinvest Polytechnic

The key theme of the event will be the development of iron and steel industry through innovations and environmental solutions

On November 28-29, 2024, Metinvest Polytechnic will hold the second international scientific and technical conference MININGMETALTECH 2024 to share experience in the mining and metals industry. The event will be held online and will become a unique platform for discussing innovations in resource conservation, digitalization and environmentally sustainable production. The conference will be attended by scientists, students and leading industry experts, as well as representatives of business, science and education.

The Program Committee is headed by Yuriy Ryzhenkov, CEO of Metinvest, and Oleksandr Povazhnyi, Rector of Metinvest Polytechnic.

The program includes sections on steel industry, mining, health and safety, robotics, modeling, environmental management and digital solutions that improve operational efficiency. Special attention will also be paid to the development of educational technologies, which will help participants improve their knowledge and expand their professional networks.

Volodymyr Kukhar, Vice-Rector of Metinvest Polytechnic, noted that the conference aims to support the sustainable development of the industry by integrating science and technology into production, which increases the competitiveness of Ukrainian steelmaking. The conference will allow participants to present their developments, discuss industry problems and find solutions for its development.
