AMKR CEO will be replaced in early 2020

Mauro Longobardo will be the new CEO of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih from 2020,

according to the Company’s press release.

Mr Longobardo will replace the current AMKR CEO, Paramjit Kahlon, who is going to leave the Arcelor Group.

According to the press release, Mr Kahlon has worked as CEO of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih for over five years and as CEO of ArcelorMittal CIS for almost four years.

Mr Longobardo led ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Jubail until the new appointment.

Under Mr Kahlon, AMKR significantly expanded its investment program and implemented a number of projects. He facilitated a much faster modernization of production facilities.

Mr Vijay Goyal, the current Vice President of the Corporation, will replace Mr Kahlon as CEO of ArcelorMittal CIS (Kazakhstan, Ukraine). He is an experienced executive who has held various positions in the Group for over the past 20 years. In 2019, he dealt with strategic projects of the Corporation.

Mr Longobardo will work under Mr Goyal from 1 January 2020.
