
Production of non-agglomerated iron ore concentrates increased by 4.9%
According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, mining of non-agglomerated iron ores fell by 0.1% to 134 million tons in January–October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
In October, Ukraine mined 13.3 million tons of ore, up 1.2% from October 2018.
At the same time, production of non-agglomerated iron ore concentrates increased by 4.9% to 52.8 million tons, and agglomerated ones decreased by less than 0.1% to 44.1 million tons.

As reported earlier, steel production fell by almost 12% in October 2019 compared to October 2018. A greater decline — 15.4% — was recorded only in the automotive industry.
In the first ten months of 2019, industrial production in Ukraine decreased by 0.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
