Since May, the «First Workplace» motivational program has been operating at Metinvest enterprises in Zaporizhzhia
Zaporizhstal Iron and Steel Works and other enterprises of the Metinvest group in Zaporizhzhia have attracted 80 young specialists as part of the «First Workplace» motivational program. This is stated in the press release of enterprises.
The relevant incentive program is effective from May 2024. It is intended for graduates of vocational and technical educational institutions, colleges, technical schools and universities without work experience in case of employment at Metinvest enterprises.
«The program is aimed at developing and supporting Ukrainian youth, creating a favorable environment in which they will have the opportunity to realize their professional ambitions, ideas for the development of the industry and the country. Using an approach aimed at the younger generation – not for the youth, but together with the youth – the program promotes retention of young and talented professionals, their career growth,» said Maksym Pedy, HR director of Zaporizhstal.
Young specialists who chose the company’s enterprises as their first workplace receive UAH 50,000 in addition to salary and bonus during the first year of work. The program also includes mentoring support, additional training at the workplace, provision of social guarantees and involvement in corporate culture.
The first 80 young professionals participating in the program have already received the first payments in the total amount of UAH 400,000 out of the planned UAH 4 million. The program continues its work and invites young people to participate.
