The steel trading company Vartis has officially opened a steel warehouse in Bila Tserkva. This was announced in a press release on the company’s Facebook page.
«We continue to work at our usual pace and expand opportunities for our customers,» the company said.
Vartis has strengthened its processes and ensured comfortable working conditions at the renovated location. The steel warehouse has a covered storage area where steel is stored in appropriate conditions, convenient access for vehicles of various sizes, fast loading and organized logistics, and a stable supply of basic rolled steel products.
We would like to remind you that in January of this year, Vartis officially opened a steel warehouse in the city of Bucha, Kyiv region.
As of March 2024, the company had opened four new steel centers in western Ukraine. In 2023, the company opened seven new steel centers, with representative offices appearing in Cherkasy, Zarvantsi, Vinnytsia, Zarichany, Lviv, Brody, and Ternopil.
As reported by GMK Center, Ukraine increased its consumption of steel products (rolled products and semi-finished products) by 21.7% compared to 2024, to 4 million tons, according to data from Ukrmetallurgprom. Last year, Ukrainian stelmakers produced 6.52 million tons of rolled products, which is 4.8% more than in 2024. 4.12 million tons of steel products were shipped for export, which is 1.1% less than in the previous year.
