The metal trading company Vartis has officially opened a metal warehouse in the city of Bucha, Kyiv region. This was announced in a press release on the company’s Facebook page.
The metal warehouse has a covered storage facility for clean metal and a modern sales office, convenient access for cars and forklifts, and metal cutting is carried out on site.
«The metal warehouse is focused on fast service, stable availability of basic items, and the ability to complete construction tasks in one place,» Vartis notes.
The product range includes standard and non-standard length reinforcement bars, profile and round pipes, sheet metal, angles, channels, masonry mesh, strips, related products and consumables.
As a reminder, as of March 2024, Vartis had opened four new metal centres in Western Ukraine. In 2023, the company opened seven new metal centres, with representative offices appearing in Cherkasy, Zarvantsi, Vinnytsia, Zarichany, Lviv, Brody, and Ternopil.
As reported by GMK Center, Ukraine increased its consumption of metal products (rolled products and semi-finished products) by 21.7% compared to 2024, to 4 million tonnes, according to data from Ukrmetallurgprom. In total, Ukrainian metallurgists produced 6.52 million tonnes of rolled products last year, which is 4.8% more than in 2024. 4.12 million tonnes of metal products were exported, which is 1.1% less than in the previous year.
