Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) published a tender in the Prozorro.system for the purchase of 1.1 thousand tons of rolled steel with a total cost of UAH 53.7 million. This is evidenced by the information on the trading platform.
The tender is divided into two lots, which involve the purchase of steelplates/steel sheet metal and galvanized steel. Thus, the «Production Support Center» branch of UZ plans to receive:
The products of the potential bidder must comply with the regulatory and customer’s technical documentation, which is provided for in the tender documentation. The producer or distributor is obliged to provide documents confirming the quality of the products.
The deadline for submitting tenders is November 10, 2022. The date of the auction is November 11. The customer plans to receive the products by the end of 2022.
As GMK Center reported earlier, last year Ukrzaliznytsia repeatedly bought rolled steel from the Metinvest-SMC company. Among them is a tender for the supply of 2.23 thousand tons of steel sheet metal at a total cost UAH 94 million, 3.4 thousand tons of rolled steel worth UAH 148 million, 1.2 thousand tons of products worth UAH 51.3 million and other. Rolled steel for UZ was also supplied by the companies «SOTA Ukraine», «Vikant», «Termet» and others.
