UZ scrap metal
Ukrzaliznytsia put up for auction in the ProZorro.Sales system 30 lots with scrap metal with a total weight of 27.7 thousand tons. The total initial cost is UAH 120.38 million. The average initial price per ton is UAH 4.33 thousand.
All lots are exhibited for the first time. The deadline for submitting applications for the participation is November 29. The auction will take place on November 30, 2022.

Among the scrap offered for the sale are types 1, 3, 4, and 510. These are rails, railcar frames, wheels, axles, and worn rolling stock parts.
As GMK Center reported earlier, from the beginning of 2022 UZ sold 97.4 thousand tons of scrap metal for UAH 596.5 million. In total for the year, the railway operator planned to implement 170 thousand tons of scrap, including 13 thousand railcars.
In 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia sold 201.2 thousand tons of scrap ferrous metals with a total value of UAH 1.503 billion. This is 38.8% more in monetary terms and 2.6 times more than in kind compared to 2020.
