Ukrainian steelmakers increased export revenues by 4.5% in January

Revenues of Ukrainian steelmaking companies from exports of ferrous metals grew by 4.5% to $745.88 million in January 2021 against January 2020, according to the customs statistics.

The share of ferrous metals in the structure of Ukraine’s export revenues in January 2021 amounted to 18.97% against 17.11% in January 2020.

At the same time, in January Ukraine cut imports of similar products by 11.7% to $57.73 million.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in 2020 Ukrainian steelmaking companies cut ferrous metals export revenues by 11.9% to $7.69 billion against 2019. Imports of these products fell by 15.1% to $1.280 billion.
