Ukraine’s trade turnover in January-October amounted to $101 billion

Ukraine’s trade turnover for January-October 2025 amounted to $101 billion, according to data from the State Customs Service.

During this period, goods worth $67.8 billion were imported into Ukraine, while exports amounted to $33.2 billion. Taxable imports amounted to $51.8 billion, which is 76% of the total volume of imported goods.

Among the countries from which Ukraine imported the most goods were China ($15.1 billion), Poland ($6.4 billion), and Germany ($5.4 billion). Ukraine exported the most to Poland ($4.2 billion), Turkey ($2.2 billion), and Germany ($2.0 billion).

Of the total volume of goods imported in January-October, 68% consisted of:

  • machinery, equipment, and transport – $27 billion;
  • chemical industry products – $10.4 billion;
  • fuel and energy products – $8.5 billion.

The top three goods exported from Ukraine were food products ($18.2 billion), metals and metal products ($3.9 billion), and machinery, equipment, and transport ($3.1 billion).

In January-October 2025, UAH 950.7 million was paid to the budget during customs clearance of exports of goods subject to export duties.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Ukraine’s trade turnover grew by 13% in 2024 compared to 2023, from $99.4 billion to $112.3 billion. During the year, Ukraine imported goods worth $70.7 billion and exported goods worth $41.6 billion.
