Ukraine’s trade turnover in 1Н2025 amounted to $58.3 billion

Ukraine’s trade turnover for January-June 2025 amounted to $58.3 billion, according to data from the State Customs Service.

During this period, goods worth $38.3 billion were imported into Ukraine, while exports amounted to $20 billion. Taxable imports amounted to $28.9 billion, which is 76% of the total volume of imported goods.

Among the countries from which the most goods were imported to Ukraine were China ($8.2 billion), Poland ($3.5 billion), and Germany ($3.2 billion). The largest exports from Ukraine were to Poland ($2.4 billion), Italy ($1.2 billion), and Turkey ($1.7 billion).

Of the total volume of goods imported in January-June, 68% consisted of:

  • machinery, equipment, and transport – $14.8 billion;
  • chemical industry products – $6.2 billion;
  • fuel and energy products – $4.9 billion.

The top three most exported goods from Ukraine were food products – $11.2 billion, metals and metal products – $2.3 billion, and machinery, equipment, and transport – $1.9 billion.

In January-June 2025, UAH 137.6 million was paid to the budget during customs clearance of exports of goods subject to export duties.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Ukraine’s trade turnover grew by 13% in 2024 compared to 2023, from $99.4 billion to $112.3 billion. During the year, Ukraine imported goods worth $70.7 billion and exported goods worth $41.6 billion.
