Ukraine’s revenues from exports of metals jumped 81% in 11M

Revenues of Ukrainian steelmaking companies from exports of ferrous metals in January–November 2021 rose by 80.1% to $12.6 billion compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the customs statistics.

The share of ferrous metals in the total volume of export revenues was 20.59% against 15.73% in January–November 2020.

In November 2021, Ukraine’s revenues from exports of ferrous metals jumped 90.4% to $1.09 billion y-o-y.

Imports of ferrous metals rose by 47.7% to $1.41 billion in 11M and totaled $157.19 million in November alone, 79.2% up from November 2020.

In 2020, Ukraine’s revenues from exports of ferrous metals fell by 11.9% to $7.69 billion compared to the same period a year earlier.
