Ukraine’s revenues from exports of metals declined by 15% in January–November

Revenue of Ukrainian steelmaking companies from exports of ferrous metals in January–November 2020 decreased by 15.1% to $6.98 billion compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the customs statistics.

In November, Ukrainian steelmaking companies exported ferrous metals worth $572.4 million. This is 13.7% down from October.

The share of ferrous metals in the structure of Ukraine’s export revenues in January–November amounted to 15.73% against 17.88% in 11M 2019.

At the same time, in 11M Ukraine cut imports of similar products by 19.1% to $952.3 million. In November, this indicator was $87.7 million.

As reported earlier, in 2019, Ukraine reduced exports of ferrous metals by 12.1% to $8.7 billion against the previous year.
