Ukraine’s revenues from exports of metals declined by 12% in 2020

Revenues of Ukrainian steelmaking companies from exports of ferrous metals decreased by 11.9% to $7.69 billion in 2020 against the previous year, according to the customs statistics.

In December, Ukrainian steelmaking companies exported ferrous metals worth $715.16 million. This is 24.9% up from November.

At the same time, in 12M Ukraine cut imports of similar products by 15.1% to $1.280 billion. In December, this indicator was $87.3 million.

As reported earlier, in 2019, Ukraine reduced exports of ferrous metals by 12.1% to $8.7 billion against the previous year.
