Ukraine’s revenues from exports of iron & steel jumped 37% in January

Revenues of Ukrainian steelmaking companies from exports of iron & steel in January 2022 rose by 37.2% to $1.02 billion y-o-y, according to the customs statistics.

The share of iron & steel in the total volume of export revenues over the month was 16.9% against 19% in January 2021.

Over the month, imports of iron & steel grew by 48.8% to $6.25 million against January 2021.

In 2021, Ukraine’s revenues from exports of iron & steel grew by 81.4% to $13.96 billion y-o-y.
