In January–September 2020, Ukrainian pipe companies reduced pipe production by 24.3% to 621.8 thousand tons compared to the same period a year earlier, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
Member companies of Ukrtruboprom cut production of pipes by 31% to 400.8 thousand tons in the first nine months of the current year.
In September, Ukraine produced 83 thousand tons of pipes, of which 49.7 thousand tons were made by Ukrtruboprom member companies.

In January–September, Dniprovskiy Pipe Works produced 0.3 thousand tons of pipes against 16.6 thousand tons in the same period of the previous year. Centravis cut production by 10.3% to 13.9 thousand tons. Production at Trubostal shrank by 40% to 1.2 thousand tons.

As GMK Center reported earlier, exports of pipes from Ukraine in January–September dropped by 26.8% to 358.7 thousand tons compared to the same period of the previous year. In monetary terms, exports shrank by 23.2% to $403.9 million.
