The US has extended anti-dumping duties on rebar from Ukraine and six other countries. This is stated in the report of the US International Trade Commission (ITC).
The ITC ruled that the anti-dumping duties on rebar imports from seven countries – Belarus, China, Indonesia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine – should not be lifted as it is likely to result in continued or recurring material injury to the United States industry for the foreseeable future.
The latest decision is the result of the fourth round of a five-year review. The Commission initiated these reviews on November 1, 2023, and determined on February 5, 2024 that it would conduct a full review. The ITC completed these actions and submitted its decisions on the reviews on December 10.
