In January-September 2022, Ukrainian enterprises of the SCM investment group paid more than UAH 60.2 billion in taxes and fees from the budgets of all levels of Ukraine. This is stated in the press release on the SCM website.
“Despite the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, SCM continues to invest in the economy and energy independence of our country,” the message says.
Almost UAH 49 billion of this amount was paid to the state budget. Payments to local budgets amounted to UAH 8.3 billion. Taxes of associated and joint enterprises – UAH 2.8 billion.
Capital investments in January-October 2022 reached UAH 13.3 billion. Most of these funds are measures to strengthen the country’s energy security.
UAH 6.1 billion was spent on social programs. The largest expenses were: environmental protection and social programs for residents of the regions of presence.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and Shakhtar FC have provided more than UAH 3.5 billion in aid to the military and civilian population.
The SCM Group includes Metinvest B.V., DTEK B.V., PUMB, Ukrtelecom, TSUM Kyiv, HarvEast, Lemtrans and Portinvest.
The amount of help from Metinvest to Ukraine and Ukrainians reaches over UAH 2 billion. 1.4 billion of them is directed to support the army and help the military.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Metinvest Group, taking into account associated companies and joint ventures, in January-September 2022 transferred to the budgets of all levels in Ukraine almost UAH 18 billion in taxes and fees. In 9 months, the company paid more than UAH 6 billion in income tax and UAH 3.3 billion in state taxes.
