The government began funding the «Made in Ukraine» programs in 2026

The government has begun financing key state programs for the development of the real sector of the economy for 2026. This is stated in a report by the Ministry of Economy.

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the relevant decision on the distribution of funds from the special state budget fund for the current year at a meeting on February 16. In total, approximately UAH 37 billion is earmarked for the «Made in Ukraine» programs in 2026.

«Funds for partial compensation of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural and industrial equipment, the development of industrial parks, and investment projects have already been approved. So I invite businesses to actively take advantage of this. We are also allocating UAH 1 billion for humanitarian demining,» said Oleksiy Sobolev, Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

As part of the «Made in Ukraine» policy, the government has allocated UAH 1 billion to stimulate the development of industrial parks. The state will continue to finance the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure and the connection of new production facilities to networks. UAH 653.1 million has been allocated to support the implementation of investment projects with significant investments (compensation of investors’ costs for the development of infrastructure facilities), and UAH 475 million has been allocated to partially compensate businesses and municipal enterprises for the cost of Ukrainian industrial machinery and equipment.

As noted by the Ministry of Economy, in 2025, the implementation of the «Made in Ukraine» policy programs ensured 0.95 percentage points of additional GDP growth.

It should be recalled that Ukraine’s GDP in 2025 was 21% lower than the pre-war level. A number of important macroeconomic indicators are already showing negative dynamics. Industrial production in Ukraine fell by 2.4% year-on-year last year, while in 2024 there was a 3.6% year-on-year increase. Growth was observed in the defense, pharmaceutical, and metallurgical industries.
