The ECA supported exports worth over 6 billion UAH in Q1

In January–March 2026, the Export Credit Agency (ECA) supported export contracts with a total value of 6.14 billion hryvnias. This is stated in a press release from the Ministry of Economy.

In the first quarter, 17 loans were insured and 25 export agreements were supported for 21 Ukrainian exporters. Every hryvnia of the agency’s insurance liability was converted into 24.2 hryvnias of future export revenue.

The largest amount of support during the period was provided to enterprises in the Khmelnytskyi (4.6 billion hryvnias), Lviv (501.9 million), and Chernihiv (419.4 million) regions.

The main importing countries for Ukrainian products insured by the ECA in the first quarter of this year were Germany (1.11 billion UAH), Poland (678.5 million), Hungary (677.7 million), and Moldova (281.8 million).

Separately, in March, the Export-Credit Agency supported export contracts with a total value of 261.99 million UAH. The largest volume came from enterprises in Dnipropetrovsk (118.11 million UAH) and Chernihiv (94.56 million) regions.

As a reminder, by the end of 2025, the ECA supported Ukrainian exports worth 10.43 billion UAH, which exceeds the 2024 figure by nearly 39%. During this period, the agency insured 84 credit agreements and supported 106 export deals for 75 Ukrainian exporters. In 2024, the corresponding figures were 87 loans, 98 agreements, and 69 exporters.

Last year, the leaders in terms of supported export volumes were the Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, and Volyn regions, as well as Kyiv.
