The Cabinet of Ministers re-introduces adaptive quarantine from 24 February

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has re-introduced adaptive quarantine from 24 February. This decision was made at a government meeting on 17 February.

Since 24 February, ‘yellow’ zone of epidemic risk will be in effect in Ukraine.

“I’d like to announce the return to the adaptive quarantine model. The same way as the last time, this model envisages four levels of the epidemic risk. Each of those provides for clear restrictions. The decision will come into effect the following week. It will be made available for all Ukrainians in advance”, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal wrote in his Telegram Channel.

I was also reported that the quarantine would be extended since late February to 30 April this year.

As reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers toughened lockdown restrictions from 8 to 24 January. The restrictions applied to the operation of public places and holding of events. The adaptive quarantine itself was extended until the end of 2020.
