SPPs in Latvia will be built on Ukrainian steel structures

The Ukrainian group of companies KNESS restarted and intensified the production of steel structures for fastening phytoelectric modules, which will be supplied for the construction of power plants (SPPs) in Latvia. This was stated by the deputy mayor of Vinnytsia Andriy Ocheretnyi on his Facebook page.

“It is important that the city maintains a positive dynamic of industrial development. Own production of supporting steel structures for export is the history of added value created in Ukraine. It entails economic growth,” he said.

Currently, the company provides work for about 400 residents of Vinnytsia, and the total number of jobs created by this company in Ukraine reaches 700.

KNESS, a group of companies operating in the energy sector, has its own RnD Center, which develops innovative products in the renewable energy sector. Electric power facilities with a total capacity are under maintenance 1.4 GW .

As GMK Center reported earlier, the Centravis company will produce 75 tons of seamless pipes for the American power plant Alabama Power, located near Wilsonville (Alabama). The term of the agreement is the third quarter of 2023. The pipes will be used for the boiler at the power plant.
