The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended martial law in Ukraine until April 25, 2022. It’s stated by the member of parliament Yaroslav Zhelezhnyak in its Telegram channel.
“Today the parliament has gathered together again within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada. A number of important decisions have been made”, said Yaroslav Zhelezhnyak.
The extension of martial law in Ukraine is stipulated in the draft No. 7168 “On the extension of the martial law in Ukraine”, which 343 members of the parliament voted for.
According to the draft law, the martial law in Ukraine is extended from 05:30 on March 26, 2022, for a period of 30 days.
As a reminder, on February 24, the Verkhovna Rada adopted by 300 votes a presidential proclamation No. 64/2022 “On the extension of the martial law in Ukraine”. The country introduced martial law from 5:30 on February 24, for a period of 30 days.
Later the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine declared a force majeure economic situation in accordance with the introduction of martial law in the country.
