Pokrov Mining and Processing Plant put into operation a new production equipment at the Chkalovsky processing plant. Interfax-Ukraine reporte about it with the reference to the corporate publication of the enterprise.
“Particular attention was paid to the enrichment building, where new equipment was recently put into operation, pumps and a new screen were installed. The latter was purchased and installed at the factory in accordance with the 2022 Technical Development Program. Now this equipment is operating in a test mode,” the message informs about the results of the field meeting of the enterprise’s management and specialists.
In the five months of 2022, the plant produced 294 thousand tons of manganese concentrate (-35.1%) and 29.55 thousand tons of iron ore sinter (-77.5%). In 2021 Pokrov GOK produced 1.21 million tons (-9.3%) of manganese concentrate.
Pokrov GOK completed January-March 2022 with a net loss of UAH 112.5 million compared to UAH 18 million in net profit for the same period in 2021.
