Four mini-metallurgical plants producing large-diameter steel pipes (426-1420 mm) continue to operate in Ukraine amid the war. The full-scale aggression severely affected the current operations of these enterprises, but since the beginning of the war, most of them have been able to significantly restore production volumes.
The following companies continue to produce large-diameter pipes in Ukraine:
According to GMK Center, pipe production in Ukraine increased by 12% – to 780 thousand tons in 2024. At the same time, Ukrtruboprom’s enterprises increased their output by 10% in 2023 compared to 2022, to 495.6 thousand tons.
In 2024, pipe exports from Ukraine increased by 43.1% y/y – to 510 thousand tons. Export revenue increased by 10.5% compared to 2023 to $648.7 million.
