Metinvest’s Zaporizhzhia enterprises have produced 1.5 thousand stoves since the beginning of the war

Since the beginning of the war, Zaporizhzhia enterprises of Metinvest have produced more than 1,500 stoves intended for residents of the frontline regions and Ukrainian defenders. Metinvest.Media reports about it.

Metinvest’s specialists have improved the designs of traditional stoves, taking into account the requests and needs of the defenders of Ukraine. In particular, these stoves are able to heat a room from 25 to 40 square meters in a short time. Some products are also intended for cooking. It takes several hours to assemble one such stove. The design is as simple and effective as possible.

According to Ihor Didenko, the electric and gas welder of the company’s enterprise, the structure is assembled first, which is the first stage of production. In the second stage, doors, hanging dryers, etc. are installed. Furnaces have a chimney, places for heating food, and an opening where ash is removed. All stoves are serviceable and durable.

Employees of enterprises make stoves in the break between production tasks. They say that they are ready for anything to bring Ukraine’s victory closer.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the company’s Zaporizhzhia enterprises have produced more than 1,500 stoves, more than 1,000 of them have already been handed over for the needs of Ukrainian defenders and civilian residents of front-line cities.

From the first days of the war, Metinvest has provided strong support to the Ukrainian army within the framework of Rinat Akhmetov’s «Steel Front» military initiative. Defenders of Ukraine receive modern ammunition – body armors and helmets, as well as equipment that provides a significant tactical advantage in the combat zone. In general, the company allocated UAH 2.1 billion to support the army, civilians and its employees.

As GMK Center reported earlier, the Metinvest group handed over another batch of aid with a total value of UAH 7 million to the Main Intelligence Directorate (MID). This time, at the request of Ukrainian intelligence officers, they were given 20 generators, 50 drones, ten thermal imagers, as well as a pickup truck to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
