Metinvest Group, as part of the humanitarian initiative «Saving Lives», is introducing a new psychological rehabilitation program for the children of the company’s employees injured in the war – «Strong Generation Camp – Future». Almost UAH 9 million will be allocated to the implementation of the project. This is stated in the message of Metinvest.Media.

More than 400 children will be able to undergo a program that is extremely necessary for further life and development in one of the best health centers in the Carpathians. The participants of the program will be the children of Metinvest employees who were mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces, as well as forcibly displaced employees from all Ukrainian enterprises of the company, as well as children who lost relatives in the war.

At the start of the program this summer, three runs of two weeks each are planned. The first race will start at the end of June. Children can enjoy a wellness program, as well as individual and group work with psychologists, trainings and art therapy. The entertainment part includes games, quests, workshops, excursions to lakes, mountains and waterfalls, sports games and much more.

During the entire program, child psychologists will be consulted and accompanied by specialists of the Ukrainian Association of Psychologists.

«Our new program is aimed at psychological support for children who lost their parents due to the war, left their homes or experienced other traumatic events. I hope that the strength of the Ukrainian Carpathians and the care of specialists will help children cope with injuries and regain the ability to enjoy life,» comments Tetiana Petruk, director of sustainable development and interaction with the team of Metinvest Group.

During the 15 months of the full-scale war, «Saving Lives» helped almost 500,000 people in 70 territorial communities. Ukrainians received about 4.2 thousand tons of products and hygiene products, and hospitals received medical drugs, consumables and equipment worth €250 thousand.
