Metinvest’s mining and processing plants paid UAH 3.8 billion in taxes in January-September

Metinvest Group’s integrated mining and processing plants (M&P plants) – Northern, Central, and Ingulets M&P plants – transferred UAH 3.8 billion in taxes to budgets of all levels in Ukraine in January-September 2025. This is stated in a press release by Metinvest.Media.

Despite economic difficulties, shelling, blackouts, staff shortages, and other consequences of the full-scale invasion, Metinvest’s Kryvyi Rih MMC remains a reliable pillar of support for Kryvyi Rih, the region, and Ukraine as a whole. Thanks to its professional team and the administration’s thorough approach to planning, the combined mining and processing enterprises continue to support the country’s economy and work towards victory.

The largest contributions made by the combined mining and processing enterprises were subsoil use fees, unified social tax (UST), and personal income tax (PIT). Land fees and military tax also accounted for a significant share of contributions.

«Since the start of the full-scale war, Metinvest’s mining and processing plants have remained among the largest taxpayers. We are working in new conditions, focusing on daily changes, but we are not giving up on our long-term prospects, because we are still committed to achieving all of our strategic goals. Metinvest continues to systematically support Kryvyi Rih and Ukraine, implementing key social and infrastructure projects in communities and helping the front line,» said Igor Tonev, CEO of Metinvest Mining.

It should be noted that, taking into account associated companies and joint ventures, Metinvest Group paid UAH 13.8 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in Ukraine in the first nine months of 2025.

In 2024, Metinvest’s Northern, Central, and Ingulets Mining and Processing Plants transferred UAH 5.7 billion to budgets of all levels, which is 2.6 times more than in 2023 (UAH 2.2 billion).
