Metinvest paid UAH 13.8 billion in taxes in January-September

Metinvest Group, including its associates and joint ventures, paid UAH 13.8 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in Ukraine in January-September 2025. This is stated in the company’s press release.

The three largest contributions were subsoil use fees, amounting to UAH 3.3 billion, unified social tax (UST) in the amount of UAH 2.6 billion, and personal income tax (PIT) in the amount of UAH 2.4 billion.

In addition, Metinvest’s Ukrainian enterprises transferred UAH 1.4 billion in income tax and UAH 499 million in environmental tax in January-September. The military levy increased more than threefold compared to the same period in 2024, to UAH 694 million, and land payments increased by 7% year-on-year, to UAH 1 billion.

«For us, paying taxes is not a formality, but a way to support the country in its most difficult times. Metallurgy has traditionally been one of the main sources of revenue for the state budget and foreign currency supply to Ukraine’s economy, and today it has also become a reliable rear for the front. Metinvest continues to work for the victory and future of our country. We are convinced that the financial responsibility of business is the foundation for the defense and restoration of the state,» said Yuriy Ryzhenkov, CEO of Metinvest Group.

As a reminder, in 2024, Metinvest Group paid UAH 19.8 billion in taxes and fees. Among the largest payments were subsoil use fees, which amounted to UAH 5 billion. In second place were unified social security contributions, which amounted to UAH 3.7 billion. The third largest payment was personal income tax, which amounted to UAH 3.4 billion.
