Metinvest handed over a batch of drones worth UAH 3 million to the defenders of Ukraine

Metinvest Group handed over a batch of drones worth UAH 3 million to the Main Intelligence Directorate (MID). This is stated in the press release of Metinvest.Media.

Aircraft were ordered in the Netherlands. They have a flight range of up to 100 km, they are equipped with a camera with 80x zoom and a thermal imager. Such equipment is made by hand and is resistant to enemy electronic warfare.

“Drones allow you to perform a very wide range of tasks – both enemy detection and fire adjustment. These are sort of minibayractars. We waited for their production for about three months, and delivered them to Ukraine by special transport. Helping the army is one of the important areas of Metinvest’s Steel Front. By supporting the defense capability of our defenders, we are bringing Ukraine’s inevitable victory closer,” commented CEO and the head of the Metinvest’s project office Olexander Vodoviz.

In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received about 500 drones from the company.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Metinvest provided the Ukrtransgaz company  with more than 6 thousand tons of steel for the hardware’s producing for the military. The company reported on the presence of 80 turbo stoves, 170 sapper cats for remote demining and 120 mini-tablet stoves. The devices were handed over to the military defending sections of the eastern and southern fronts.
