Metinvest Group, as part of the «Steel Front» military initiative, handed over two thermal imaging devices to the soldiers of the special purpose battalion of the National Police. This is stated in the Metinvest.Media’s press release.
The Dahua Thermal Scope c435 thermal imaging scope allows to see the thermal radiation of objects at night. Thanks to the eight-fold zoom, objects that may be invisible to the naked eye can be seen in detail at a distance of up to 2 km. The equipment allows to record video, screenshot, track hotspots, measure distance, etc.
«In modern conditions of a full-scale war, we absolutely need such equipment to effectively perform combat tasks. Today we received two such thermal imagers. I am sure that they will help us in the defense of Ukraine,» said the commander of the special purpose battalion of the National Police Department of the Zaporizhzhia region.
As GMK Center reported earlier, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, Metinvest has handed over to Ukrainian military personnel in the hottest areas already 200 special mobile shelters, produced at the company’s enterprises.
