Metinvest financed the purchase of medical transport for Kryvyi Rih

Metivest group directed another financial tranche in the amount of UAH 10 million to support the medical field of Kryvyi Rih. With these funds, the city purchased three special vehicles for the ambulance service, it is stated in the message of Metinvest.Media.

According to Kostyantyn Murashko, the head of the health care department of the executive committee of the Kryvyi Rih City Council, Kryvyi Rih, like the entire country, is currently on military rails.

“Hospitals and ambulance stations are working in emergency mode today. Paramedics and ambulance drivers do the almost impossible, taking the wounded from the battlefield under the threat of shelling. In addition, cars leave for the calls of people from Kryvyi Rih. Therefore, Metinvest’s help in purchasing an additional number of ambulances will significantly increase the mobility of the service,” said the representative of the city executive committee.

The amount of financial support that Metinvest directed to the needs of the city is already 30 million UAH. The group, together with the local military administration, assumes responsibility for providing food products to vulnerable sections of the population, helping displaced people, and supporting the medical sector.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the company has established a regular delivery of aid to Kryvyi Rih hospitals. In general, together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, the purchase of medical equipment, medical equipment and consumables in the amount of UAH 52 million was carried out for Kryvyi Rih hospitals.

“The staff of the Metinvest Group today demonstrates not only endurance and devotion to the country, but also an indomitable civic stance. We help to warm and feed, transport and heal, protect and win,” said Andrii Skachkov, CEO of the Northern Mining.

As GMK Center reported earlier, at the beginning of November, Zaporizhstal Iron and Stel Works handed over to Zaporizhzhia hospitals a new batch of medicines for emergency medical care worth more than 2.4 million hryvnias. It was distributed among six local medical institutions.
