Metinvest donated machinery and equipment worth UAH 3 million to the Marines

As part of the Steel Front military initiative, Metinvest Group provided assistance worth nearly UAH 3 million to the 39th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy. The package included a universal tractor for setting up defensive positions and an interactive touch table for planning the unit’s actions, according to a press release.

The 39th Brigade was formed on the basis of the 126th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, which defended the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions from the first days of the full-scale war. In February 2025, the unit became part of the 30th Marine Corps of the Navy and continues to fight in the southern direction.

«We will use the tractor to prepare the first and second lines of defense. Preparation is an important part of warfare so that the enemy does not take you by surprise, so we are always preparing. Setting up our own positions is just as important a part of preparation as training personnel, so there can be no small details here,“ explained a soldier with the call sign ”KRYUGER.»

Metinvest specialists conducted a technical inspection of the machine and prepared it for operation in conditions close to the front line. According to the military, the interactive table allows for faster coordination of actions and decision-making during combat operations.

«This is not the first time such technology has been used in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: related units with which we communicate and work together also use such tables. This is really cool help that will improve the work of the unit as a whole, and the unit will be able to solve problems on the battlefield more quickly. This is not the first time Metinvest has supported our brigade, and it always provides prompt assistance with exactly what the unit needs. Of course, this is very important, because we are joining forces for the common victory of Ukraine. Only together are we strong,» added KRYUGER.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Metinvest Group has allocated UAH 9.72 billion to support the state and Ukrainians, of which UAH 5.2 billion has been allocated to the army as part of the Steel Front military initiative. For more than three and a half years, the group’s priority has been to help the army, because the future of the country, cities, and industry depends on its resilience.
