In January-June 2023, Ukraine’s largest private freight transport operator Lemtrans allocated about UAH 540 million in taxes to the budgets of all levels. It is stated in a message on the company’s website.
In particular, UAH 506 million was allocated to the state budget, UAH 33.8 million – to the local budget, and the amount of the single social contribution reached UAH 19.8 million. In six months of 2023, the company increased tax payments to the state and local budgets by 11.7% compared to the same period in 2022.
«Lemtrans continues to fill the budget of Ukraine, because one of the main tasks of business is transparent and timely payment of taxes. It is necessary to understand that every hryvnia paid to the budget is help to defenders and support of the state as a whole. Therefore, we will continue to be a pillar and a reliable partner of the state,» the company’s CEO Volodymyr Mezentsev noted.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Lemtrans has been fulfilling its role in supporting the country’s logistical security and economy. In addition, the company continues to invest in the state’s economy in the face of a full-scale Russian invasion.
As GMK Center reported earlier, in 2022, Lemtrans allocated to the budgets 1.3 billion UAH of taxes of all levels, in particular, 1.2 billion UAH – to the state budget, and 95 million UAH – to the local budget. 22 million UAH were allocated to help the army and the population of Ukraine during the year.
