According to the results of January-June 2022, Lemtrans, the largest private freight operator in Ukraine, transferred UAH 483 million in taxes and fees to the budgets of different levels. This was reported by press office of companies on the Facebook page.
“The company fully fulfills its tax obligations to the country and Ukrainians, because Lemtrans is a responsible taxpayer. The duty of business is to help on the economic front”, – the message informs.
UAH 447.5 million of taxes were transferred to the state budget during the reporting period. The company replenished the local budget by UAH 35.8 million, and the Unified Social Contribution amounted to UAH 32.4 million.
“We continue to support the economy by ensuring the stability of logistics supply chains in Ukraine. We all need to understand that every hryvnia is now working to support the stability of our economy,” said the CEO of Lemtrans Volodymyr Mezentsev.
As GMK Center reported earlier, according to the results of the first quarter, Lemtrans contributed to the budget different levels of UAH 159.5 million in taxes and fees.
So far, the company has listed to a special account NBU 20 million UAH to support the Ukrainian military. In addition, the company sent over UAH 650,000 to the territorial defense forces.

Lemtrans is the largest private rail freight operator in Ukraine. In 2021 the company reduced railway transportation of iron ore raw materials by 60.3% compared to 2020 – up to 9.79 million tons.
