Kametstal paid nearly UAH 2 billion in taxes in 2025

For the fourth year running, amid military threats and energy challenges, Metinvest Group’s Kametstal steelworks remains one of the key taxpayers and the main contributor to the budget of Kamensk. According to Metinvest.Media, the company paid more than UAH 1.96 billion in taxes and fees to budgets at all levels in 2025.

Of this amount, more than UAH 744 million went to the city budget, which is UAH 105 million more than in 2024. More than UAH 1.213 billion went to the regional and state budgets.

The largest share of revenues was generated by the single social contribution – almost UAH 588 million (+28% y/y), personal income tax – about UAH 502 million (+27%), and land tax – almost UAH 430 million, which is 11% more than in the previous year. Environmental tax deductions for 12 months amounted to over UAH 146 million.

As noted by Kametstal CFO Yevgeniya Zhamashvili, the company remains a reliable pillar of support for the community and the country’s economy. According to her, the 16% year-on-year increase in contributions to the city budget ensures the stable operation of social infrastructure and the implementation of important programs.
