Kametstal hired 109 young specialists under the First Job Program

More than a hundred young specialists have already found their professional start at Kametstal thanks to the First Job program from Metinvest Group. Since its launch, 109 graduates have become part of the company’s production team, according to a press release.

The program is aimed at young people who graduated no earlier than 2022 and have not yet had official work experience. Vacancies are available for them in various departments of the company, from the BOF and rolling shops to the railway transport operation department. The participants not only gain their first work experience, but also learn modern technologies and gradually build their career prospects.

In addition to professional adaptation, Kametstal also provides financial support. Each program participant who complies with the discipline and occupational health and safety rules can receive up to UAH 50 thousand in additional payments. The remuneration is accrued in stages: UAH 10 thousand after three months of work, another UAH 10 thousand after six months, UAH 15 thousand after nine months, and another UAH 15 thousand at the end of the year.

Today, 80 young professionals receive these payments. The program not only motivates, but also proves that young people can be a reliable backbone for the industry, provided they are supported, trained and fairly remunerated.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Kametstal is implementing an adaptation system for new employees. The program helps newcomers integrate into the work process faster, master the necessary skills and become effective team members.
