Kamet-steel paid over UAH 2.8 billion in taxes in 2024

Kamet-steel, a member of Metinvest Group, increased tax revenues to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine by 30% in 2024 to UAH 2.815 billion compared to 2023. This is stated in the company’s press release.

About UAH 639 million (+34 million y/y) was allocated to the local budget of the city of Kamianske. The regional and state budgets received almost UAH 2.176 billion.

The largest contributions to the budgets of different levels are:

  • single social tax – UAH 457 million (+14% y/y)
  • land payment – UAH 386 million (+6% y/y);
  • personal income tax – UAH 394 million (+12% y/y)
  • military duty – UAH 37 million (+28% y/y).

Environmental tax increased by 17.5% compared to 2023 and amounted to over UAH 181 million.

«Kamet-steel, along with all the company’s enterprises, works for the country’s economy, remaining a stable producer of demanded steel products and a responsible taxpayer in the most difficult times. As a key enterprise in the city, we remain the largest donor to the city budget. The company’s responsible allocation of funds in full means supporting stable salary payments to employees of the city’s utilities, ensuring the operation of medical facilities and the most important city programs,” comments Evgenia Zamiashvili, CFO of Kamet-steel.

As GMK Center reported earlier, including associates and joint ventures, Metinvest Group increased its payments of taxes and duties to the budgets of all levels in Ukraine by 36% in 2024 to UAH 19.8 billion compared to 2023.
