Interpipe receives the Veterans Friendly Business Award

On the first anniversary of the #TitansUA project, the Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe received the Veteran Friendly Business Award from the Dnipro Regional Military Administration and its head, Serhiy Lysak. The company said in a statement.

The #TitansUA project aims to create a powerful veteran community to facilitate the physical, psychological and social recovery of defenders.

According to Interpipe, this award is very important for the company, as the successful reintegration of a veteran into society is possible only with the support of the employer.

For the company, veteran-friendly business means targeted work with each individual in several areas: medical and legal support, psychological and emotional recovery. One of the most important tasks is to find a job.

“Interpipe strives to adapt the functional field, working conditions, schedule, and position to each employee who cannot return to their pre-war job but is ready to return to the company and look for solutions together,” the company says.

To do this, they analyze the veteran’s experience, skills, and physical capabilities, on the one hand, and the needs of production, on the other. At the intersection, they seek to find a new job, explain prospects, offer support and training.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Interpipe has employed more than 165 veterans. The company is constantly improving its support for the military, adapting it to the real needs of soldiers and veterans.

In 2022, to support the mobilized, the company created the Assistance Headquarters, which has now become a full-fledged structural unit that provides the military with everything they need.
