Interpipe plans to increase the number of educational locations to 20 by the end of the year

The industrial company Interpipe plans to increase the number of educational locations to 20 by the end of this year. This is stated in an article by Forbes Ukraine.

Together with the city authorities of Dnipro, the company is building a technical education ecosystem, ranging from school laboratories to vocational schools and university programs. This process began more than six years ago. The goal is to reach as many children as possible and show them that technical sciences are modern, interesting, and prestigious.

Currently, this ecosystem includes two educational paths. The first is school workshops and vocational school laboratories, which aim to bring skilled workers into the industry. The second begins in a school mechatronics laboratory and then leads the child to a technical university. The goal of this path is to train engineers.

In addition, Interpipe and its partners are holding a series of events.

Mechatronic Lab educational program. From a training course where children could learn the basic skills of modern engineering, the initiative has grown into an annual regional mechatronics competition. Currently, there are seven such laboratories in schools in Dnipro. The curriculum has been approved by the Ministry of Education, so this subject can be taught as an additional course. However, not only schools with laboratories can participate in the competition, but also any educational institution in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The interactive free training course “WOW! Physics” was created in 2025 by the Interpipe team together with Dnipro Polytechnic. During the semester, 30 high school students participated in the course.

Excursions to Interpipe factories – over two years, more than 2,000 high school and university students have visited them.

Summer city camps based at Dnipro Polytechnic. They have been running since 2024, introducing schoolchildren to technical sciences and professions in an interactive format. The camps last a week, during which children are introduced to technical sciences through practical classes.

It should be noted that Interpipe is recognized as a leader in the field of business cooperation with education. The company received an award for its systematic support of secondary technical and higher engineering education in the TOP 100. Ratings of the Largest ranking.
