Production of pipes also grew in January–October. Conversely, production of railway products dropped

According to the press release posted on the Company’s official website, in January–October 2021, Interpipe, a Ukraine-based company, increased production of steel by 23.2% to 790 thousand tons compared to the same period of 2020.

Production of railway products in 10M dropped by 12.2% to 141.5 thousand tons, and production of pipes increased by 28.8% to 499.7 thousand tons.

In October, the Company produced 63.2 thousand tons of steel, 14 thousand tons of railway products, and 56.3 thousand tons of pipes.

From January to October, the major sales markets for railway products included:

  • CIS (40%);
  • Europe (33%);
  • Ukraine (13%);
  • American continent (5%);
  • MENA (3%).

The main sales markets for pipes were Europe (25%), the MENA region (24%), Ukraine (19%), the American continent (18%) and the CIS (12%).

In 10M 2021, sales of railway products decreased by 12.7% to 142.5 thousand tons compared to 10M 2020. Sales of pipes and tubes grew by 16.6% to 459.1 thousand tons.
