Interpipe has employed over 165 veterans

Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has employed more than 165 veterans. The company is constantly improving its support for the military, adapting it to the real needs of soldiers and veterans. This is stated in an article by Ukrayinska Pravda.

Of the more than 9,500 employees, about 1,000 are currently defending Ukraine as part of the Armed Forces, the Military and the National Guard. To support them, in 2022, the company created the Assistance Headquarters, which has now become a full-fledged structural unit that provides the military with everything they need: from equipment to treatment and psychological rehabilitation.

Oleksiy Kusyk, a 33-year-old crane operator who was mobilized on the first day of the great war, was wounded near Kreminna. “Interpipe provided him with medicines, ammunition and support in the hospital. According to Oleksiy, the company helped him at all stages of his service – from providing him with body armor to accompanying him during treatment.

The company systematically provides the military with individual first aid kits, specialized medical backpacks, and procures medicines according to individual needs. For example, if a soldier has a back problem, they buy him a bulletproof vest with ceramic plates, and if he has an allergy, they buy him the necessary medications.

The headquarters employs five coordinators, each of whom takes care of more than 200 soldiers. They keep in touch with the soldiers, help with documents and monitor their health.

Tatyana Kaptelova, director of Interpipe’s corporate clinic, personally contacts military doctors and organizes treatment for mobilized employees. If necessary, the company provides not only medicines but also rehabilitation equipment and transportation for veterans with limited mobility, and helps them recover at RECOVERY rehabilitation centers founded by Victor and Elena Pinchuk.

In addition to physical rehabilitation, much attention is paid to psychological recovery. Veterans undergo a medical examination, get access to the corporate exercise room, and participate in group meetings for adaptation. Such activities help fighters socialize after their return.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Interpipe is among the top 50 best employers in Ukraine, according to a rating compiled by NV magazine together with Odgers Berndtson Ukraine.
