Ferrexpo ramped up pellet production by 7% in January

In January, the Ferrexpo Group ramped up iron ore pellets production by 7% to 1.05 million tons compared to the same period of the previous year, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

Production of iron ore concentrate rose by 12.2% to 1.3 million tons in January.

The Ferrexpo Group is the largest producer and exporter of pellets among the former Soviet Union countries. Its production assets include Poltava Mining and Yeristovo Mining.

In 2020, Ferrexpo increased production of iron ore pellets by 7% to 11.218 million tons against the previous year. Concentrate production grew by 5.9% to 14 million tons.

Ferrexpo plc holds 100% of shares in Ferrexpo AG, which, in its turn, owns 100% of shares in Poltava Mining and 100% of shares in Yeristovo Mining.
