Exports of semi-finished products from Ukraine (code 7207 under the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity (UKTZED)) in May increased by 39.9%, up to $314.6 million, compared to the previous month.
According to the consolidated customs statistics posted on the website of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the volumes of export of semi-finished products grew by 25.6%, up to 732.6 thousand tons.
In January–May, Ukraine’s export of semi-finished products amounted to 3.1 million tons, or $1.3 billion.
The share of semi-finished products in the volume of Ukraine’s foreign trade was 6.24%.
Italy and Egypt bought almost half of the semi-finished products produced by Ukrainian companies. Algeria ranks third.
