The growth in prices for construction metal products in August ranged from 0.21% to 1.36%. Prices remained stable throughout most of the period, rising slightly at the end of the month.
These data are based on the dynamics of the consolidated price index for construction rolled products of the Ukrainian Steel Construction Center Association.
The increase in prices for steel products for construction in August was very insignificant:
As GMK Center reported earlier, the volume of metal products consumption in the Ukrainian market (excluding polymer-coated rolled products, stainless rolled products, and tinplate) in the first half of 2025 increased by 13% y-o-y and amounted to 1.65 million tons. However, taking into account the increase in metal traders’ inventories by 120+ thousand tons since the beginning of the year, the real growth in market capacity in January-June amounted to about 9% y/y.
