Dniprowagonmash increased its net revenue by 2.1 times y/y in the first half of 2022

In January-June 2022, the railcar-building enterprise Dniprowagonmash increased its consolidated net revenue by 2.1 times compared to the same period last year – up to UAH 632.56 million. Interfax-Ukraine agency reported about it with the reference to the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market’s data (NCSSM).

The company’s consolidated loss for the first half of 2022 decreased by 7.3 times compared to January-June 2021 – to UAH 14.23 million.

In 6 months of 2022, the plant received UAH 64.3 million of consolidated gross profit, while in the first half of 2021 – a loss of UAH 15.7 million. The loss from operating activities decreased by 13.3 times on an annual basis – to 8 million hryvnias.

The company’s long-term liabilities as of July 1 of 2022 increased by 21.7% compared to the beginning of the year – to UAH 148.8 million, while current liabilities decreased by almost 22%, to UAH 510.37 million.

The consolidated company’s reporting includes indicators of the subsidiary Stalzavod. At the same time, the indicators of Dniprowagonmash’s work for 2021 have not yet been made public.

In January-September 2021, Dniprowagonmash had a net loss of UAH 97.7 million due to the crisis situation in the carriage-building industry of Ukraine. At the same time, net revenue decreased by 38.7%, to UAH 384.4 million.

As GMK Center reported earlier, based on the results of 2021, Ukrainian railcar builders increased the production of freight railcars by 31.2% compared to 2020 – up to 1,948 units. Dniprowagonmash produced 461 railcars in 2021 and 825 railcars in 2020.
