Dniprospetsstal cut steel production by 6.2% in 2021

In 2021, Dniprospetsstal steelmaking company decreased steel production by 6.2% to 210.94 thousand tons against 2020, according to the Company’s press release.

The Company’s production results in the rolled products segment decreased by 2.1% to 150.8 thousand tons over the year. The cost of the products totaled ₴9.8 billion.

In December 2021, the Company decreased production of rolled products by 40% to 14 thousand tons y-o-y. Steel production fell by 40.5% to 11.9 thousand tons.

In 2020, Dniprospetsstal increased production of rolled products by 1.3% to 154 thousand tons y-o-y. Steel production grew by 2.7% to 255 thousand tons y-o-y.

Dniprospetsstal is the only manufacturer of long stainless steel products in Ukraine. The Company produces rolled sections and forged products of stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing and structural steel as well as heat-resistant nickel-based alloys. Dniprospetsstal exports its products to 60 countries all over the world.
