DMZ produced equipment for mining companies in December

In December, the specialized steel equipment repair shop (SSERP) of the Dnipro Metallurgical Plant (DMP), part of the DCH Steel group, completed another batch of orders for mining companies. A new customer was a mining and processing plant from Kryvyi Rih, for which the workshop’s specialists manufactured a number of critical parts. This was reported in the DCH corporate newspaper.

In particular, shafts were turned with subsequent cutting of keyed joints and technological holes in accordance with the customer’s requirements. Such components are used in key equipment units and are designed to ensure the stable operation of production processes in the mining sector.

A separate volume of work was performed for the Sukha Balka mine. The workshop specialists inspected and repaired four expansion columns of the NKR drilling rig, which will extend the service life of the equipment and increase its reliability. In addition, axles for wagons, balancer bushings, and lifting unit shoes were manufactured for partners in Kryvyi Rih.

All shafts, columns, and other parts were shipped to customers in December. At the same time, the metallurgical equipment workshop is fulfilling orders for pipe, metallurgical, and machine-building companies. The manufacture and repair of parts for the 550 mill is also continuing as part of DMZ’s preparations for the next rolling campaign.

As a reminder, during the November rolling campaign in rolling shop No. 2 of DMZ, which lasted from November 12 to 22, 6.4 thousand tons of finished steel products were manufactured. The campaign was carried out without days off and was conducted in the most intense mode, since, due to a decrease in the volume of orders, the team worked on a two-shift schedule for the first time.
